Process

How an edit works

From a folder of raw clips to finished files, with a review point at each stage so big changes happen early.

The board above is an illustration of an event recap job. Eight clips came in. Two were set aside, one a pocket recording and one a duplicate of a camera clip. The rest were trimmed to the seconds worth keeping.

1. Brief and quote

You share the folder link and tell us what you want back. We skim the footage, ask about anything unclear, and send a written quote with the scope, revision rounds and a delivery date. Work starts when you accept it.

2. Clip triage

Every clip gets watched. Usable parts are marked, the rest is set aside, and duplicates from different phones are compared so the best angle wins. If an important moment only exists in a weak clip, we flag it so you can decide.

3. First cut

The story in order, with cleanup done: stabilizing, sound leveling and color matching. Captions, music and titles go in at this stage. You review on a link and leave comments at exact moments.

4. Changes and delivery

We make your changes and export each version you asked for, sized for the platform. Extra rounds beyond the quote are priced before we do them.
